The steam rail motors were completed in October 1905, in reverse order, their Doncaster works numbers being 1108/07. Their coachwork was by GNR Doncaster Carriage Works.
They were taken out of stock in December 1926, and their engine units were condemned in 1927. Their carriages were converted (3/1930) to a twin-set to Order MR 2728 (April 1927), carriage Nos. 44151/52. The set was condemned (7/1937) as a result of damage sustained Hatfield.

One petrol railcar was purchased from Dick, Kerr & Co. Preston, in 1904, with 4-cylinder engine supplied by Daimler Motor Co., Coventry.
It was withdrawn in 1908 after little use.

The steam rail motors were completed in December 1905. Their coachwork was by Birmingham Carriage & Wagon Works.
They were taken out of stock in December 1926, and their engine units were condemned in 1927. Their carriages were converted (1927) to a twin-set, carriage Nos. 44161/62. The set was condemned (2/1959) and broken up at Ranskill (May 1959),

They were taken out of stock in 1925, and their engine units were condemned in December 1925. Their carriages were converted (9/1925) to a twin-set, carriage Nos. 44141/42. The set was condemned (August 1958).
